The Shared Files module allows you to put files on your site for users to view and download. You can upload any type of file you like using the Shared Files module.
Uploading Files to the Shared Files Module:
(Depending on your settings, you may need to be logged in as the administrator to upload files to the Shared Files module.)
- Click the "Browse" button in the Shared Files Module
- Locate the file on your local computer (hard drive, CD/DVD, flash drive, floppy disc, etc.)
- Select the file, and click "Open". The file name will now appear in the textbox
- Click the "Upload" button.

Renaming Files in the Shared Files Module:
(Depending on your settings, you may need to be logged in as the administrator to rename files in the Shared Files module.)
- Click the "Rename" link next to the file
- Type in a new name for the file. Keep the extension the same, or else you won't be able to open the file.
- Click the "Update" button to finish renaming the file

Deleting Files from the Shared Files Module:
(Depending on your settings, you may need to be logged in as the administrator to delete files from the Shared Files module.)
- Check the box to the left of the file(s) you would like to delete
- Click the red X above the list of checkboxes
- Click OK to confirm deletion of your files

Downloading Files from the Shared Files Module:
- Click the Download button (disk drive with a blue arrow pointing down).
- Files which can be displayed in a web browser (like PDF files) will be opened.
- Files which cannot be opened in a web browser will be given the option to save the file, or open it with a different program
