Changing the Name of a Page

Some notes on page names

The links on the homepage come from the names of the pages they link to.

If you add a new page, the CMS will automatically create a link to that page.  The link text will be whatever name you chose for your new page.

If you create a new page, it will have a different URL than any other page on your site.  A URL is a web page address, like http://www.jetsoftdev.com/mojoPortal/changing-the-name-of-a-page.aspx.

If you change the URL of a page, it will break any bookmarks people have for that page. It also makes it hard for search engines like Google to find your page.
