Adding Links to Existing Pages

You must be signed in as the administrator in order to edit any pages (including adding links to text).

  1. Browse to the page where you would like to add the link.
  2. Click the "Edit" button for the content area where you would like to insert the link.
  3. A text editor will appear on your screen.  Scroll inside the text editor until you find the place where you would like to add your link.
  4. If you would like a word or phrase to be a link, highlight that word or phrase with your mouse.
  5. If you do not highlight a word or phrase, the CMS will use the web page address as the link text.
  6. Click the "Insert/Edit Link" icon at the top of the text editor.  This icon looks like a globe with chain links at the bottom.
  7. A new window will open in front of your browser.
  8. Click the "OK" button to add the link and return to the text editor.
  9. When you are finished making changes, click the "Update" button.
  10. You will be taken back to your page, but now your link will be included on the page.
